Scriptures: Isa.26:3; Psa.27
Greetings 'Fan'-tastic Passengers,
Life is filled with circumstances, which are as chaotic as a storm. Nevertheless, there is a place of complete rest and peace, near to the heart of God, where you can learn the secret of triumphing over adversity, by completely trusting in God.
Scripture encourages you in Psalm 27 to by faith, focus on God's power to deliver you from the stormy situation, rather than fearing how big and powerful of a circumstance it is and the possibility of it defeating you. In the midst of his chaotic storm, the Psalmist David chose to focus on God, by dwelling in His presence, while gazing on His beauty and listening to His melodious voice. .As a result of this strategic meditation on the Lord, the Psalmist was able to rise in confidence above the situation at hand and sing joyfully, to the Lord (vv.4-7).
Consequently, in this place of peace, the Psalmist was reminded that God is with him and will never forsake him. Furthermore, even though the stormy situation was still raging on the outside of this place, he was confident that, God is in control of the chaos and will bring peace to his situation, in His time (vv.10-11),
While in this place of complete rest and peace in the Lord, the storms of life continues to rage on the outside. Nonetheless, God promised to keep him in perfect peace, him whose mind is stayed on Him (Isa.26:3). Trust Him with your whole heart today because the God that you serve, is able to, embrace you in the hollow of His hand and keep you from all harm and danger.
