Recognized as the CRMA’s “Top Female Gospel Artist” Joy is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Joy is a lyrically conscious, inspiring work of art who is rooted in reggae and infused with SOCA, calypso, zouk and R&B/soul. It is a true reflection of Joy and her musical style.

With her soulful tone she has often been compared to singers such Candi Staton and Gladys Knight.

Joy’s ministry puts a strong emphasis on the love, compassion, grace, forgiveness and mercy of Jesus Christ. She sings songs of comfort, encouragement, and deliverance. Combining truth & real life experiences in her music, Joy has been able to connect with people of all ages and ethnicities through various genres.

Joy has also shared stage with Kierra Sheard, U.S.A and collaborated on a song entitled, "Jehovah Rohi," with Kirk Davis a.k.a., 'Little Kirk,' Jamaica.

In addition, she has been very active in leading singing and acting roles in various radio/TV commercial for key corporate stakeholders in both private and public sectors.

Joy’s music, mission and vision is proof that the gospel of Jesus Christ and His love shining through believers, can send a ‘ray of hope’ into the lives of individuals. Consequently, it is to no one’s surprise, that she tries to live God's word by giving back to the community. Joy actively supports the Maxfield Park Children’s Home in Kingston, Jamaica through monetary means and donations of food, clothing, and educational materials. In addition, Joy is also actively involved with other missions in Ghana, West Africa, and Toronto, Ontario.

Her latest No. 1 single entitled “Yadah" done in a zouk/reggae style,  has been receiving rave, reviews and exploding exponentially on various charts.
